This is a collection of notes, sketches and small articles I've written mainly for myself, to put down in writing some ideas. I don't think this will have any general interest for other people, but as I tend to get a lot of things wrong, here it is for anyone to read. Some of the things I wrote before 2012 are available as downloadable PDFs but only in Spanish. At the start of 2012 I launched a prediction on how Javascript would become more enterprisey this year. One of the symptoms (or maybe effects, I'm not sure) has been the proliferation of a number of articles, books, guides, catalogs, etc, on design patterns. The problem is they keep bringing the patterns exposed by Gamma et al and simply try to hammer they down until they more or less fit. Seeing this sad state of affairs -not limited to Javascript, of course- I decided to write this small attention call on the perils of seeing Design Patterns as magic universal almighty recipes.
